NEVER OUT OF HIS HANDS
“The kingdom of God is at hand for you.” – Luke 10:9
There are certain places where I feel God in a special way. My favorites are before a tabernacle, wide open spaces surrounded by nature, and silent places.
But that is me. For other persons, playing praise songs may make them
feel God’s presence. For others, it may be time spent with the less
fortunate.
We have different ways of recognizing God but as the verse above
states, the Kingdom is already at hand. We just need to open our eyes to
recognize it.
In the midst of unmoving traffic, recognize God in the window of opportunity He gives you to slow down.
When money is short and you don’t know where to turn, see the hand of God in the strength He gives you to be able to look for work. When it seems all doors have been closed and you’re too tired to struggle, stop and surrender yourself into the arms of God who is always there with you.
We are never out of His hand.
That’s why the kingdom of God is at hand. Joy Sosoban(jsosoban@gmail.com)
Reflection: See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. (Isaiah 49:16)
Dearest Lord, may I never forget that Your Kingdom is already here. Help me see it. Help me live in it.
St. Mother of Theodora Guérin, pray for us.
