LORD, SAVE US!
But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. – Matthew 14:30
I’ve been helping my dad manage our family business since 1991. It was doing well until 2007, when the global crisis happened. Our business was affected.
Our sales plummeted, and our payables accumulated.
The year 2010 was especially difficult for us. I cried to God for help. I prayed to Him day and night to save us. He was the only One who could help us. He was the only One we could depend on.
When we had checks that needed to be funded, I prayed fervently asking God for the money we needed. He always answered and would provide for the exact amount needed, sometimes even more than what I asked for.
When sales were low, I would pray several times during the day asking God to help us reach our daily sales target. Miracles happened. Customers came to buy our products. We collected our receivables.

REFLECTION:
Do you have a great need? Whom do you turn to first? To whom do you cry out for help?
Father, help us in our daily needs. Help us increase our faith and trust in You.
