REWIND AND MOVE ON!

 

“Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you” – Matthew 12:38

We live in a hurting world. As long as you are breathing, you will be hurt.

       By a breakup. By a business associate who double-crosses you. By your husband who cheats on you. By your teen who falls into drug addiction. By a talebearer who causes strife. By broken promises.

       The list is endless.

       The reason why the world inflicts hurt is because it was hurt before. To understand a difficult or toxic person you need to rewind.

       Find out about that person’s hurtful past and begin to understand the pain.

       Then forgiveness and healing happens — to you and to the person you are forgiving.

       To forgive is to give mercy to the one who needs it most.

       Love, forgive and move on!
